An application of lattice theory to non-well-ordered cardinals

报告摘要：Using a special kind of Birkhoff lattices, we construct a permutation model in which there exists a finite-to-one function from the symmetric group of an infinite set $A$ onto $A$, which cannot exist even in the presence of the axiom of countable choice. This is a joint work with Jiachen Yuan.
报告人简介：申国桢，武汉大学哲学学院特聘副研究员。中国科学技术大学理学学士（2011年），武汉大学哲学硕士（2015年），中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院理学博士（2020年）。曾获2020年度中国科学院院长特别奖。主要研究领域为数理逻辑和数学哲学，尤其是不依赖于选择公理的集合论和蒯因的新基础论。
