Metric characterizations of some Banach space properties

摘要：Some local properties of Banach spaces have purely metric interpretation, e.g. superreflexivity, type and cotype. In this talk we will first present some known results in this direction, and then focus on the recent progress in metric characterizations of some asymptotic properties.
专家简介：张晟，西南交通大学数学科学学院讲师；2008年本科毕业于厦门大学数学科学学院，2016年博士毕业于Texas A&M University，师从国际著名泛函分析专家William B. Johnson。张晟博士主要从事Banach空间非线性理论方面的研究，在度量几何取得了一系列重要成果，在包括J. London Math. Soc.，J. Funct. Anal.，Israel J. Math.，Proc. Amer. Math. Soc.等在内的重要国际刊物上发表论文多篇。
