ABSTRACT
In this series of talks, we will recall the construction of classical motives due to Grothendieck to its modern version -- Voevodsky's triangulated motives. Then we introduce the idea of using commutative differential graded algebra to construct a rigid tensor subcategory of motives generated by the projective line and further extend these construction to an elliptic curve. In the final, we mention some application of the theory of motives.
TOPICS
1. Classical motives (I) -- Introduction and Weil cohomology theory
2. Classical motives (II) -- Chow motives
3. A triangulated category of motives in the sense of Voevodsky(I) (II)(III)
4.Mixed Tate motives from the cdga point view
5. Motives for an elliptic curve
6. Application of the theory of motives
