报告摘要:
We consider networks of elastic strings coupled through springs and point masses at the junctions. In contrast to classical string networks with Kirchhoff transmission conditions, the presence of masses leads to dynamic coupling conditions and, after reformulation as a first-order hyperbolic system, to nonlocal boundary conditions.
I will first discuss the well-posedness of the coupled system and the additional regularity generated at the point masses. I will then present exact boundary controllability results for star-shaped networks. A characteristic feature of the system is that the spring–mass coupling produces different regularity properties on different components, leading naturally to asymmetric control spaces. I will also explain how the algebraic structure of the junction, in particular the rank of the associated graph Laplacian, enters the controllability analysis.
