报告摘要:
Understanding the geometric and topological features of biomolecules is essential for revealing their structural stability, functional mechanisms, and dynamic behavior. In this talk, we will introduce a multiscale framework based on the linking number to analyze geometric strcuture of 3D biomolecules. This approach captures both global topological information and local geometric variations, enabling a more robust quantification for molecular complexity.
专家简介:
Li Shen received his Ph.D. from Michigan State University under the supervision of Prof. Guo-Wei Wei. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institute for Theory and Mathematics in Biology (NITMB), with affiliation at Northwestern University. His research focuses on geometric and topological data analysis and its application, particularly in the study of biomolecular structure and dynamics.
