Non-existence of critical random fractals
derived from Brownian motion

报告摘要:In this talk, we will focus on a unified approach that establish the non-existence of three types of random fractals: (1) the pioneer triple point of planar Brownian motion, answering an open question in [Burdzy-Werner. AOP, 1996], (2) the pioneer double cut point of planar and three-dimensional Brownian motion, and (3) the double point on the boundary of clusters of planar Brownian loop soup at critical intensity, answering an open question in [Qian. PTRF, 2021]. These fractals have the common feature that they are associated with an intersection or disconnection exponent which yields a Hausdorff dimension "exactly zero". This talk is based on a joint work in progress with Yifan Gao (CityU HK), Xinyi Li (BICMR) and Wei Qian (CityU HK).
