Stability of Sobolev Inequalities

报告摘要：Sobolev Inequalities are fundamental in PDEs and geometry. In this talk,I will discuss it's stability, first from functional inequalities, then from critical points theory.I will introduce our recent results on nonlinear stability in the critical point at infinity,solving a conjecture of Figalli. Analogous topics on Caffarelli-Kohn-Nirenberg inequalities and harmonic map inequalities will be mentioned. (Joint work with B.Deng and L.Sun.)
专家简介：Professor Jun-Cheng Wei is currently Choh-Ming Li Professor of Mathematics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He works in the area of nonlinear partial differential equations,nonlinear analysis and mathematical biology,He received a Silver Morningside Medal in 2010,and was an invited speaker at the 2014 International Congress of Mathematicians.Professor Wei was elected a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada FRSC in 2019,and awarded the CMS Jeffery-Williams Prize and Simons Fellow in Mathematics in 2020.Since 1994,Professor Wei has over 500 published articles in top journals,including Annals of Mathematics,Inventiones Mathematicae,Communications on Pure and Applied Mathematics and Duke Mathematical journal.As of 2023,Professor Wei’s scholarly work has been cited over 20,000 times and has an h-index of 73.
