报告摘要：This talk aims to advertise a pattern/phenomenon that has emerged in many different mathematical areas during the past decades but is not currently well-understood via an example: Bott--Samelson rings for Coxeter groups. This is the product of a project of the PACE program (a research experience for undergraduates) at Peking University, joint with Lin Sun (Fudan University), Shihao Wang (Qsinghua University) and Haoyu Zhu (Sun Yat-sen University). The talk is designed to be accessible to a wide audience.
专家简介：桂弢，北京国际数学研究中心博士后。本科毕业于四川大学数学学院，博士毕业于中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院。现在的主要研究方向是李理论，表示论，组合几何与组合霍奇理论。
