The introduction of regular Hessenberg varieties

报告摘要:Regular Hessenberg varieties are a family of subvarieties of the full flag variety G/B. This family contains the full flag variety, Peterson variety and permutohedral variety. A regular Hessenberg variety in type A is defined by a Hessenberg function h:[n]→[n] and a regular linear operator of C^n. In this talk, we recall some basic properties of regular Hessenberg varieties and connections of topology and combinatorics in regular Hessenberg varieties. 

专家简介:曾昊智,华中科技大学副教授。研究领域为环面拓扑,目前主要研究正则Hessenberg varieties上的代数拓扑。与人合作给出了一类toric origami manifolds的Betti数的显式表达,证明了正则Hessenberg varieties的结构层的上同调的消灭定理,给出type A的正则半单Hessenberg varieties是Fano和weak Fano的组合判定条件。
