ABSTRACT

In this mini-course I will review Rosenberg’s notion of Riemannian metric for noncommutative tori. I will then explain the definition of volume form and Laplace-Beltrami operator in this context. As applications, I will attempt to present versions for noncommutative tori of the microlocal Wey Law and Gauss-Bonnet theorem.
