General relativity is one of the most profound theories in modern science, shaping our understanding of space, time, and gravity. Beyond its physical implications, it has also played a fundamental role in advancing differential geometry and mathematical physics.

In this course, we will provide an introduction to general relativity, covering key mathematical concepts that form the foundation of the theory, such as Lorentzian manifolds, curvature, and the Einstein field equations. Additionally, we will explore important developments in mathematical relativity, highlighting fundamental notions and key results that have shaped the field.

A prior course in differential geometry is recommended.
