On Erd˝os covering systems

报告摘要：In this talk, we will first introduce the classical covering systems over integers and the minimum modulus problem, which was posed by Erd˝os in 1950. Then we will introduce a technical input called the distortion method developed by Balister, Bollob´as, Morris, Sahasrabudhe and Tiba in 2022, which is important for our purpose. Finally, we will report some recent results on covering systems and the minimum modulus problems in the number fields and global function fields settings, which is essentially based on the general distortion method. This talk is based on joint work with Huixi Li, Biao Wang and Chunlin Wang.
专家简介：易少云，厦门大学助理教授。2012年本科毕业于中国科学技术大学，2019年博士毕业于美国俄克拉荷马大学。主要研究方向为数论、表示论，研究成果发表或被接受于Ramanujan J.、Finite Fields Appl.、Forum Math.、Mathematika.、Commun. Math. Stat.、Rocky Mountain J. Math.、Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. 等国际数学期刊。
