Post-Quantum Cryptography: from Theory to Practice
报告摘要：The use of cryptography is ubiquitous in our daily life. However, the development of faster quantum computers can break today’s crypto-systems. Therefore, it is imperative that we develop and deploy post-quantum cryptography, before scalable quantum computers become a reality. In this talk, I will describe my work in designing, formally verifying and hardware-accelerating post-quantum cryptography.
专家简介：Xiong Fan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Rutgers University. He is interested in various aspects of cryptography and its intersections with formal verification and hardware acceleration. Previously, he was a researcher at Algorand. Before that, he was a postdoctoral researcher at University of Maryland. He obtained his Ph.D. at Cornell University.
