On the Symmetry of Riemann-Finsler Spaces

ABSTRACT
In this talk, we will present some recent results on symmetric Riemann-Finsler manifolds. The main topics will include Affine symmetric Berwald spaces, locally and globally symmetric Finsler spaces, and weakly symmetric Finler spaces. We will also show that there is no intermediate stage between weakly symmetric spaces and globally symmetric spaces.
