ABSTRACT
We prove a multiple ergodic theorem for one parameter diagonal group actions on homogeneous spaces. The convergence rate is also obtained. The proof uses effective k-step correlations. These effective results are based on the existence of the spectral gap and quantitative nonescape of mass estimates.
