报告摘要:

I prove that, if a regular planar set has dimension greater than 1, then its distance set must have positive Lebesgue measure. This settles the regular case of the Falconer distance conjecture in the plane.

刘博辰,南方科技大学副教授,本科毕业于浙江大学,博士毕业于美国罗切斯特大学,从事调和分析、几何测度论、组合数学相关研究。已在Geometric and Functional Analysis, Proceeding of London Math Society, American Journal of Mathematics, International Mathematics Research Notices, Transactions of the American Mathematical Society, Journal of Functional Analysis等国际著名期刊发表论文二十余篇。
