Pattern formations of coupled PDEs with
transparent boundary conditions
and applications

报告摘要：In this talk, I will discuss our study on a class of coupled PDEs with transparent boundary conditions that arises in a variety of cutting-edge applications including inverse boundary problems, spectral geometry of invisibility, and super-resolution imaging. I shall report several peculiar local and global pattern formations of these PDEs. Several novel applications will also be discussed.
专家简介：刘宏宇，香港城市大学教授，其研究领域为应用数学和计算数学，包括数学物理中的反问题，超材料和隐形，散射理论和谱理论，近年来也探讨反散射与仿生学习及人工智能的交叉和结合。曾获国际反问题协会最高荣誉Calderón Prize, 香港数学会青年学者奖，获选英国物理学会会士、数学及应用学会会士。 现担任中国仿真学会不确定系统分析及仿真专业委员会副主任，担任“Inverse Problems and Imaging”等多个国际期刊的编委。
